I first fell in love with creative writing in my English class in the 6th grade. I realized later that all my favorite classes (besides lunch) were usually my English classes.
My favorite book of all time is Siddhartha by Herman Hesse. But outside of the typical novel, I am a huge fan of poetry, short stories, nonfiction memoirs/biographies and graphic novels.
I have been drawing and painting since child hood and am self taught. I later took classes in college to hone in my skills, learn new disciplines and receive real critiques.
When I am not reading or drawing, I love to going to concerts, festivals, events and performances. I am a huge music fan and enjoy seeing my favorite performers live especially when I can enjoy alongside friends and family. My favorite genres include: indie, rock, electronic music, pop and even classical music.
Certified animal lover. I can tell you endless, useless animal facts. I’ve been volunteering with animals all my life. Currently, I have a cat, Willow, who is my whole world.
